Rizal Province a place to visit

Rizal is named in honor of the Philippines' National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, Known for its artist's communities and folk festival, Rizal also offers diverse natural and man-made attractions. Breathtaking view of laguna de bay, the rugged Sierra Madre mountains, swimming spots, and picnic ground. Rizal province is Metro Manila's closest eastern neighbor.

It has 13 municipalities. Antipolo City, Angono, Binangonan, Cainta, Taytay, Baras, Morong, Jalajala, Pililla, Rodriguez, San Mateo, Tanay and Teresa.

I now live in town of Angono Rizal. Which is the are capital of the Philippines. One day I did research about the beautiful places in Rizal. I was amazed because there are also many places here that are just not very visited. So i decided to make a plan to visit this area.

First on my list to visit is Wawa Dam also known as Montalban Dam is a gravity dam constructed over the Marikina River in the municipality of Rodriquez Rizal. It was built in 1909 during American colonial era to provide water needs for Metro Manila. It was abandoned when Angat Dam was built.
